The timing of our programs depends upon the level of funding we are able to attract.
The goal of this program is to develop teaching materials and resources to support the teaching of citizenship in the elementary grades and which can be easily integrated in K - 5 Social Studies curricula.
In 2010, we will understand how citizenship is taught in K - 5 in California. We will then identify resources and develop materials for K-2 teachers. We will work with elementary school teachers to accomplish this.(more detail)

In 2010, we will raise funds in three ways:
No donated funds will be used for fund raising purposes unless specifically earmarked for such purposes.
We intend to design and sell via the web site, high quality citizen action t-shirts.
Our focus will be on increasing public awareness and on educational strategies and resources for teaching young Americans about the importance of being involved citizens and how to be effective citizens.
We intend to write a children's book about The Impact of a Single Act.
