Encourage Your Children to do a Good Deed and Write the Story of It as Their Christmas or Holiday Gift to You
This action was suggested by a friend when we were
discussing how materialistic Christmas has become. She suggested that I
ask my daughters to do a good deed and write a story of it as their Christmas
present to me rather than a more traditional present. 
Discuss with them the importance of helping others and treating all differences with respect.
