To drain the political swap, we must acknowledge how pervasive it is and how it gets polluted.

The political swap may be centered in DC, but its tributaries extend into state and local governments and even homeowners associations (HOAs). How nasty is the swamp?  Well, one indicator is Congress’ 2017 14% approval rating.

Unfortunately, “we the people” are the ones who pollute the swamp and its tributaries! We elect these individuals to whom we give a 14% approval rating.

We don’t spend enough time from our ‘pursuits of happiness’ to identify and vote for capable individuals who care more about the country than themselves.
